Excursions CURIOSITIES BOLOGNA
Enclosed in the historic center stretches Via d'Azeglio, one of Bologna's most renowned streets. Thanks to its proximity to Piazza Maggiore, in fact, this street has always been the social heart of the city. Named after the Marquis d'Azeglio, a great 19th-century figure of state and culture, the importance of this street dates back well before the 19th century.

Its historical richness is still witnessed by the many Renaissance and medieval-era palaces that line it, such as Palazzo Bevilacqua, Palazzo Marsigli, the Ex Ospedale degli Innocenti and the Ex Convento di San Procolo. Coming closer to our times, we recall among the points of interest the home of singer Lucio Dalla, world-renowned composer and musical artist. The former home of this extravagant and multifaceted artist is now home to the foundation named after him, which is constantly engaged in organizing guided tours and initiatives of various kinds.
To this day, Via d'Azeglio is a street teeming with life: its privileged location in the center of the city makes it the starting point for a path leading to the famous and fascinating shrine of St. Luke, traveled by thousands of people every year. Via D'Azeglio also remains the street of "viver bene": since it was closed to traffic, people can stroll and converse undisturbed, delighting in shopping and stopping for aperitifs.

It is right here, in this hub of Bolognese life and a stone's throw from our Hotel, that some of our splendid apartments are located: the "Luxury Apartments" and the "Art Studiò". With their elegant and spacious rooms, these splendid accommodations offer all the comforts of an apartment without sacrificing the services of a 4-star hotel.
